Junior Creative Artworker

CAKE is a new type of agency that is embracing the freelance world and foregoing traditional agency structure. We’re offering something new that has enabled us to grow at a phenomenal rate over the last 12 months. Just two years old, we’re already winning industry awards.

You will be working with our Freelancer Team directly with our Creative Director on key accounts as we continue to build the company. You will be a key contributor to our continued success and the potential for opportunity in this role is limitless.

What you’ll bring to the team:
You’ll be dedicated and ambitious, passionate about all things creative and have an exceptional eye for detail. 

With a good base of experience in design, you’ll have a high level of technical artwork ability which you’ll be able to demonstrate with your portfolio. You'll be skilled at accurately translating briefs into finished artwork. You’ll be able to work fast and accurately, working well under pressure and to deadlines.

You are joining a young business at a pivotal time and will need the ability to be flexible and understanding of change to be a real success in the role. As part of a small team, you also won’t mind getting stuck into some office tasks if needed. You’ll enjoy a laugh but know when it’s time to get your head into a piece of work. 

Experience using industry standards Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop is essential and design related qualifications are a plus.

Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
£15,000 - £18,000 per annum dependent on experience.
