The Duty Free Travel & Retail Global Summit, Cannes

Our first time in Cannes and at The Duty Free Travel & Retail Global Summit, what an experience.

I mean, working from a 100ft superyacht, in Cannes harbour, in the 25-degree heat was tough and the champagne made it harder! Don’t get me wrong we worked hard, but what a place to be working hard. 

We were working with our clients, YV Brands & Elevate Retail, who are great people so that really helped – from the multiple meetings, both scheduled and impromptu, we felt as though it was a hugely beneficial experience and investment for CAKE. Within the Elevate Retail umbrella, there are a number of other brands, including Logo Pegs and Sinco Creations. All the people we met were lovely, accommodating, hard-working and interested in our approach and how we work.

If we get invited back next year, needless to say we’ll be in attendance – and if we don’t, we’ll be going anyway!
